Steve Carrell will play Maxwell Smart in a big-screen remake of the late-60's TV show "Get Smart". The role was originally played by Don Adams, who died earlier this week.

Want more useless info? Adams returned as Maxwell Smart in a mid-90's remake of the show for Fox in which Andy Dick played his son. Only 7 episodes saw the light of day.
